Welcome to Junior Faculty
Junior Faculty is an organization for junior researchers at Uppsala University. A 'junior researcher' is a person with a PhD, but without a permanent position. Members are e.g. assistant professors, associate professors, 'post-docs' andother scientists without a permanent faculty position.
The overall aim of Junior Faculty is to promote the career of junior scientists. To further this goal, we frequently organize seminars on grant proposal writing, career development, and workshops such as the Creativity Day.

Extra information seminar about budget and financial issues On Thursday March 21 the Financial Administration will arrange an extra seminare for all applying for the VR's research grants for Young researchers, especially dedicated to budget and economic issues. On this occasion you will have answers to how to calculate salary including wage mark, overhead, depreciation of equipment costs and other expenses. In other words, everything you need to know to draw up a reasonable budget for your applications. |

RJ/VR HumSam workshop Kick off! Denna workshop riktar sig till juniora forskare inom HumSam-området som planerar att skicka in ansökningar till Vetenskapsrådet och/eller Riksbankens Jubileumsfond under våren 2013. Efter en inledande kick-off fortgår arbetet i mindre arbetsgrupper ledda av en mentor.
