Career conversations – a career webinar series from JF & UUPA

The Junior Faculty and Postdoc Association at Uppsala University are excited to announce the next installment of our webinar series Career Conversations, tailored to junior PhD holders (postdocs, researchers, BULs, etc.) and others exploring their future career opportunities.

This webinar will focus on university teaching and choosing to prioritize it over research. Senior lecturer Malou Friederich Persson (Dept. of Medical Cell Biology, UU) will share her experiences and advice with us. She summarizes her path in the following way: I wanted to do research – how did I end up in academic teaching? And why do I like it?
