About us
The overall aim of Junior Faculty is to promote the careers of junior scientists. To further this goal, we organize activities such as grant writing workshops, career development seminars, and networking events. We also interact with the domains and faculties of Uppsala University, and we are a member of National Junior Faculty, which includes all Junior/Future Faculty organizations from other Swedish universities and institutes.
We meet once a month via Zoom; the upcoming JF Steering Group meetings are:
- November 20, 12:30-13:30 - option to join on-site at Engelska parken
- December 15, 12:15-13:30

Junior Faculty receives financial support from all three Disciplinary Domains at Uppsala University - Science and Technology, Medicine and Pharmacy, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
If you have questions, ideas, or suggestions, or if you are interested in joining the Steering Group, please contact us, and we can discuss further. We ask the new members to participate in two Steering Group meetings before they decide if they want to officially be part of the Steering Group.
